Since 1964, The Long Beach Expo has welcomed thousands to each of its triannual shows, with hundreds of dealers showcasing collectibles galore – from coins and banknotes to sports cards and Funko Pops! and so much more. There’s something for everyone here, with people from across the United States and beyond converging at the Long Beach Expo for this beloved Southern California tradition.
Along with the many dealers buying, selling, and trading in virtually every kind of collectible, we also have some exciting highlights that we know so many have been waiting for. One of the biggest attractions is the “Ship of Gold,” an exhibit featuring sunken treasures from the S.S. Central America. A partial replica of the 280-foot steam ship, which went down in a hurricane off the shores of the Carolinas in September 1857, anchors the dazzling multimillion-dollar array of rare gold coins, ingots, and other treasure retrieved from the shipwreck over the last 35 years.
