Precast columns are cast horizontally if square/rectangular and vertically if circular Slim floor beams are fabricated on an automated production line with concrete placed off site when appropriate.
Columns are tied together using proprietary bolted shoes creating pinned supports and satisfying robustness requirements. Slim floor composite beams offer the benefit of flat soffit and no requirements for fire protection.
Columns are available in most shapes and sizes. Beam depth can vary to suit project requirements. Plate thicknesses are tailored specifically to beam designs. Recycled steel is available, on request.
Columns are installed onto projecting bolts which seat into shoes allowing quick and efficient installation. Beams ‘sleeve’ over projecting bolts allowing them to be ‘locked’ into position before being loaded with floors.
