CULINARY HIGHLIGHTS TO REMEMBER Ask Dalton and Rylie what guests remember most about their big day, and their answer comes instantly: the food.

“During cocktail hour, we had passed hors d’oeuvres. The bacon-wrapped scallops were absolutely phenomenal!”

Dalton recalls. “At our reception, we had chef-attended stations that guests loved, including a pasta action station with a variety of pastas, proteins, and toppings.

“Guests were able to customize and watch their dish come together right in front of them, which made it such a fun and memorable experience. We also included displays of assorted pizza and salad, which reflected our personal favorites as a couple.”

For Dalton, who jokingly calls himself a pizza connoisseur, the quality was an unexpected delight. But for their guests, the interactive dining experience made the evening unforgettable.

Q: WHEN A GUEST DINES AT OVIDE, WHAT DO YOU HOPE THEY TAKE AWAY FROM THE EXPERIENCE? A: I hope they feel a sense of connection to the ingredients, to the region, and to each other. Food should spark conversation and create memories.

We want to see our whole community as volumes of light! The only requirement to participate is having a lantern. Spectators can watch the parade around the Village.
