The challenge we faced in the formal living room, which needed to be designed for entertaining, was to achieve a scale of intimacy and comfort within the massive space and high ceilings, all while maintaining a level of formality dictated by the grandeur and essence of this magnificent home.

The result is an impeccable mix of luxurious and classic materials providing a warm welcome to the homeowners and their guests.

Project was completed by Esmeralda Farache Interior Design in collaboration with CB Design Studio.

The client wanted a complete 360ยบ install creating an elegant lush tropical landscape that framed the house and matched its grand scale. Special features on this project include a wandering masonry storybook path that runs more than 200-feet-long toward the lake, a luxurious pool, smaller water features to punctuate specific areas, mini-succulent and herb gardens, dramatic lighting, and year-round seasonal bloom and interest.

Modern/Contemporary Transitional Modern/Contemporary Transitional Whole House Under 3,000 Sq Ft What started as a choppy floorplan with dull finishes was transformed into an entertainment paradise that incorporates verticality and natural light for a sophisticated and practical design. By using materials like interior glass doors and porcelain tiles that reflect light, this whole-house renovation marries clean lines and contemporary elements with warmer materials like wood beams that accentuate the volume of the space.

The design renovation was inspired by the colors of a sunset illuminating clouds over the Atlantic Ocean. Hues of seaside aqua, green, gray and beige flow through the oceanfront home with transitional coastal styling to create a relaxing, family-oriented retreat.

Miscellaneous With nautical accents and vibrant colors set against a neutral backdrop, energy moves through this playful bunk room where any child would love to play. Design details like tone-on-tone moldings applied to the coffer ceiling, and the use of rope on the shiplap walls and custom bunk beds bring visual interest to this naturally lit play space.

Integrated shelving and a built-in window seat create functionality for a multitude of activities.
