T E L E V I S I O N There are 3 TVs in the house: 1.) Entrance Level – The TV in the Bunk Room is generally used for gaming and for use with the Apple TV (Guests will need to enter their own Apple ID and password to use Apple TV features) which can be connected via an HDMI cord.

2.) Main Level – The TV in the main living area is hooked up to Foxtel.

Please turn on the television itself using the remote that matches the brand of TV, and then turn on the Foxtel box using the Foxtel remote. The house has an Apple TV that can be connected via HDMI cord and can be used on any of the televisions provided guests have their own Apple ID and password to use with it.

To use Apple TV on this unit, there is an app remote control.

3.) Southern Bedroom – This TV has a DVD player connected and there is a wide selection of DVDs provided at the house (including a good amount of family-friendly movies). Again, the Apple TV can be hooked up to this unit via HDMI.

M U S I C Sonos speakers are located on the main level near the bi-fold doors out of the balcony. These can be switched on and linked up to by anyone connected to the house Wifi network. Please connect to the wifi on your smartphone or device you are using to play music, and then open or download the free Sonos Music App to play your music through the speakers.

Please bring in outdoor cushions when raining and at the end of the day to ensure they stay dry for your use.

H E A T I N G

This house has gas heating available. The control is on the main floor by the door out to the back garden, by the pantry area under the stairs. Instructions for use are on a separate sheet located in the bottom drawer closest to the balcony in the kitchen. Please note! Though the house has a fire place, this is not for use by guests!

The appliances in our kitchen are straight forward to use, however, should you have any issues, all the instruction manuals for operation are located in the bottom drawer of the cupboard closest to the front deck.

The laundry area is located off the Bunk Room on the entrance level of the house. In addition to the dryer, there is a clothes line located out the rear door of the laundry, as well as indoor clothes drying hanger.

For your convenience, there is an outdoor shower located just at the top of the driveway to wash off all the salt and sand from your trips down to beautiful Whale Beach. Please be sure to wash off as much sand as possible in the outdoor shower before entering the house.

B B Q

The BBQ is located in the back garden and is connected to the main gas at the rear of the house. On the hose to the gas bayonet, there is a yellow on/off dial; twist this to open gas line, then push in, and twist the dial on the BBQ itself that is the furthest to the right. It will click, starting the flame ignition and light the flame. Once lit, proceed in order, right to left, for each dial for the appropriate heat needed for cooking. PLEASE NOTE: Igniting all four dials makes a lot of heat, and owners suggest lighting two only.

Though we do not expect any issues during your stay, in the event there is a power surge and you need to rest a flipped fuse, the fuse box is located just outside in the carport off the driveway.

All dirty cutlery and crockery must be cleaned or placed in the dishwasher with the dishwasher on.

Air conditioning and fans must be switched off, blinds shut, with all doors and windows shut and locked

Please ensure that all bins are placed on the curbside upon your departure as well as every Sunday evening while in residence for council collection.

Please place garbage in the correct bins, see below: 1. Red Lid - General Waste 2. Yellow Lid - Glass/ Recyclable Plastic 3. Blue Lid - Paper/Cardboard All garbage should be removed from the house before departure. Excess garbage will incur an additional charge.
