Gas fire -is the white controller Press the power button and wait for the fire to click on To turn it off, simply press the power button again.

B L I N D S

a On the wall located at the end of the kitchen bench is a controller To activate, press 'my' and a number will appear

b #16 puts all blinds up and down together #1 will put the first blind up or down (closest to the kitchen bench) and so on sequentially.

c #2 and #3 always go up and down together Blinds can be stopped halfway up or down by pressing “my” again otherwise they will go fully up or fully down automatically

Helpful instructions for oven and cooktop attached separately in instruction manuals in the kitchen

Oven will not operate if the time is flashing. The pot symbol with steam should be displayed ......if there has been a power outage just follow the instructions provided to reset and everything will work again

a. best way to use oven is to first preheat using the Quick start mode, then when it has reached the desired temperature, you choose the mode you wish to cook with

b. you always need to set a temperature and a mode and turning off need to turn off both temp and mode.

Q U I C K G U I D E T O T H E O V E N M O D E S

This knob is on the very right of the oven. There are 9 selections (described in detail with other oven info) #9 is the ‘quick start’ best for preheating and takes 8 or so minutes to reach 180. Then select the mode you wish.

Cook top at times will not light automatically and just needs to use the gas lighter that is provided. Keep the gas running for a little while as you hold the knob in after it has been ignited to allow the gas to fill the pipes.

There are some great baking dishes provided in the small section below the oven, this is also a warming drawer.

Please stack carefully and do not leave any broken glass in the machine. Please use the washing tablets provided There is a second dishwasher in the laundry Simply press the power on button, choose cycle and press start

I N S I N K E R A T O R

Only put fruit and vegetable waste in here NO MEAT. The cold water must be running while the motor for the incinerator is on Never run engine without water Do not push too much down at once or you risk blockages NEVER put hand in the incinerator while on Citris , lemon and orange skins do not go very well so these are best put in general rubbish. Run the water first then turn on the button that is located just inside the cupboards under the sink

W I N E F R I D G E

The reflective sheet is there to keep the fridge cool as it gets a lot of sun in that position. If you find the sheet in the way, please store it in the gap beside the fridge during your stay

Washing machine (Meile W 5903WPS ) and drier (Meile T8903 C) are easy to use Often best to add “short cycle” to any washing programme

Drier needs to have lint taken from the door catcher and the one at the front as you open the door … if this is full it will continually beep and certainly not operate

A portable clothesline is available for use and kept in the laundry Pegs and basket are kept on top of the drier. Throws for use are in the laundry cupboard. Iron and ironing board are in the laundry cupboard.

S P A A N D P O O L

Please use the outdoor showers before entering the pool and spa (there is one at the top of the stairs as you come back from the beach and one at the deck before you come up the stairs to the kitchen). Both showers have hot and cold water.

Use the aqualink controller for the spa Spa takes 15-20 minutes to heat

Never have HEAT POOL but POOL mode must stay on.

Press 'equipment' - select spa jets and lights if needed

Use the up and down arrows to scroll for mode, press 'select' to choose that action

PLEASE NOTE - Scroll back through to ensure everything is turned off when you are finished including jets, heat and lights

NO glass or ceramic to be used in the pool area

There are plenty of unbreakable wine champagne and other cups in the cupboard above the kitchenette bench in the games room Please always use these

Please leave in a clean state after use. Utensils for bbq in the drawer beside the cooktop in the kitchen.

U M B R E L L A S

There are two large sun umbrellas under the black covers provided on this deck These have wheels to make it easy to move them about and the wheels have locks (down lock on). Please store the covers by the clothesline and replace over at night to prevent excess staining or damage.

The umbrellas must NOT be used if there is wind and MUST NOT be left up unattended The wind can quickly pick up and cause the umbrellas to be ripped from their stand /broken. Any damage/repair will be charged to guest

Please bring the outdoor cushions in at night or if raining. There is also a huge bean bag that is wonderful to relax on When not in use please put undercover in the covered deck area beside the kitchen and laundry

Please ensure that all bins are placed on the curbside upon your departure as well as every Sunday evening while in residence for council collection
