For more than 20 years, Riverside Youth Enrichment Center has made learning fun. Our licensed childcare facility provides a nurturing environment where preschool children grow into lifelong learners. We focus on supporting the physical and intellectual development of preschoolers through a mix of child-initiated and teacherguided activities that spark curiosity. Palm Beach Gardens Residents will receive a two-week priority window for swim lesson registration before it opens to the public. This priority access will be available for every season of swim lessons, giving you the opportunity to secure spots early. The registration schedule is listed below.

Available for ages 3 years to adults. Each lesson is 25 minutes long and will pair one swimmer and one instructor. Semi-private lessons are possible, pairing two swimmers and one instructor. The instructor will work at the pace of the swimmer(s) to reach their individual goals, working towards water competency, technique, and water safety.
Refunds and rescheduling are not available due to personal reasons missed, classes will not be held under the minimum registration, and make-ups for weather cancellations (by the City) will take place on the weekday following the end of the session. Weekend makeups will be conducted following the end of the session. Sessions are complete with 8 classes of 50% of time taught (i.e.: 20 minutes of a level class, 15 minutes of private/preschool)
• Classes may reach maximum capacity quickly. If your class is full, please allow us to put you on the waiting list. We will contact you as soon as possible if a spot becomes available.
• Swim lessons for individuals with varying abilities are available. Private lessons are also available for individuals wanting one on one instruction. Please contact us for more information.
• Students must meet the age requirements and prerequisite prior to the first day of the class they are registered for. Students unable to demonstrate competency of the level prerequisite may be unenrolled from the lesson. Accommodations for registering for the wrong level are not guaranteed.

Join us for an exciting and educational Winter and Spring Break at Junior Lifeguard Camp! Learn the essential skills and techniques needed to succeed in the important role of a lifeguard. Throughout the week, you’ll build swimming endurance, practice life-saving rescue techniques, and learn basic CPR and First Aid. Being a lifeguard goes beyond the stand; it’s also about leadership and teamwork. You’ll build customer service skills, engage in team-building activities, gain confidence to handle reallife situations, and get hands-on practice with essential rescue equipment. By the end of camp, you’ll be familiar with rescue equipment, understand water safety, and even have the unique opportunity to shadow a lifeguard on duty! We can’t wait to see your junior lifeguard in action!

TRX class for 55+ is a low-impact, functional strength training workout designed to improve balance, flexibility, and overall mobility using suspension training. This course is an introduction into the exquisite medium of watercolor. This is a beginner’s class, so if you have never painted before, don’t worry! We will begin with some basic painting/drawing composition concepts and transition them to a finished painting. I will have a collection of reference photos to work from. Through observation, demonstration and experimentation, we will explore areas such as color theory, combining pigments and transparency which give watercolor its unique character. TENNIS WITH A LIMITED TIME COMMITMENT
A favorite of skilled players with limited time. People of various levels play, including some very strong competitors. Formats take ability level into account. Tournaments are held as singles and mixed. Singles are usually played as a ladder, with both women and men placed in the continuum according to ability for 3 matches in an abbreviated format. Our one-day mixed doubles tournaments are usually contested in ability-based multiround compass draws with 3 matches in an abbreviated format.
For players beyond beginner level. Each session will work on fine-tuning basic skills and strokes. Serve and footwork will be instructed. “Live Ball” rallying between players is introduced.

FRENZY is just that, continuous feeding and hitting in doubles formation as the pros conduct. Frenzies are very fast-paced and only recommended for stronger players (3.0 and above). If more than one court, pros will divide the group according to ability. Great for doubles tactics and fitness!
CARDIO can be a bit more instructional but is still a very active workout. It’s usually limited to one court with 12 players max. Especially recommended for those returning to the game.

Open play is designed to allow players the opportunity to enjoy, meet others, and work on their game.
BEGINNER ORGANIZED OPEN PLAY is a great way for beginners to learn the game while playing; an instructor will be present to organize gameplay and provide instruction.
ORGANIZED OPEN PLAY features gameplay in a round-robin style format that facilitates play with and against others. A pickleball instructor is present to assign players to courts and coordinate play. These activities are offered at different skill levels to ensure a good time is had by all (2.5-2.9 & 3.0 and Above). These activities are not for beginners. Participants must know the rules and how to keep score. Free to Pickleball Passholders.
OPEN PLAY is meant for recreational purposes and to provide participants with an opportunity to develop and have fun at all skill levels. These Open Play sessions are unsupervised. Participants will be expected to follow general etiquette and paddle rotations for play and always show good sportsmanship. Free to Pickleball Passholders.
Our pickleball instructors are available to assess your skill level in the form of a half-hour private lesson ($41/$46/$39). Call the Tennis & Pickleball Center at 561.630.1180 to obtain their contact information.

Registration is just $15 for a single day, or $50 for an entire year. Contact info for annual vendors is posted on the website to make it easy for party hosts to find a group which has already completed the simple paperwork.

The City of Palm Beach Gardens outdoor recreation facilities are public spaces and available for all to enjoy. Group use requires permitting via pbgfl.gov/rentals. Should you desire to give private instruction, please contact recrentals@pbgfl.gov to complete our licensing process. These activities could include private sport lessons and/or fitness instruction. For a listing of our registered private instructors, please email recrentals@ pbgfl.gov.

Most Recreation Department programs offer a resident and a non-resident fee. To be eligible for the discounted resident fees, a participant must reside within incorporated Palm Beach Gardens municipal limits and provide acceptable proof of residency. To check residency status, go to pbgfl. gov/recreation, click on Residency Check icon and enter the address. If your address does not appear, you will be charged non-resident fees.
The City strongly encourages all participants to familiarize themselves with the online registration site prior to enrollment. Should you need assistance with your username or password, or encounter any problems with online registration, please call 561.630.1100. Acceptable forms of online payment include Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express.
