HER STORY

Maria Guida Dos Santos

1936-2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Maria Guida Dos Santos, known by those who loved her as “Mariguida”, who left this world peacefully on November 7, 2025, surrounded by love. Mariguida was a woman of grace, kindness, and joy. She was the heart of Santo António (Fogo).

Mariguida was always smiling, always dancing, and always bringing people together. Her laughter could fill a room, and her warmth touched everyone who had the blessing of knowing her.

She was the devoted wife of Raul Dos Santos (Nenezinho), a loving mother to Antonio, Duda, Zinha, Zaca, Laura and Domingo, a proud grandmother to 22 of her grandchildren, and her 20 great grandchildren, all of whom will carry her love and light in their hearts forever.

Forever in our hearts, we celebrate the beautiful life of Maria Guida Dos Santos.
