Jose Robert Earl McGee
1958-2024
Robert "Jose" Mcgee, 66, of Boston passed away on August 11th, 2024 after a long and fulfilling life. He was born on January 25, 1958 in Miami, Florida. Robert was born to Hosea Mcgee (deceased) and Lillian White- Jamison (deceased). He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Judy, as well as his children Danjrail Mcgee, Anthony Mcgee, Carolyn Mcgee, Lakisha Mcgee, and Jarell Mcgee; 10 sisters Ella Mae White-Lewis (deceased), Shirley White (deceased), Diane Ellis, Debbie Barnum-Wright, Barbara Williams, Angelena (Angela) Jamison, Jewel Maldonado (deceased), Angela (Kacy) Anderson, Joann Mcgee, Cassandra (Lato) Mcgee-Jean and three brothers, Matthew "Bro" Mcgee, Mario Mcgee, and Anthony Mcgee (deceased). Including 20 grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He came to Boston, MA in the 70's and then met his wife Judy in the late 90's and married in 2002. He grew to become very close with his in-laws who lovingly referred to him as "Jose" and gained very close relationships with his brother in-laws and mother in-law. Jose found joy in helping his mother in-law with household renovations and fix-ups and even helped with the duties of caring for her when she was sick. He loved to dress whether it was up or down, he always stayed in style. Later in life he truly devoted himself to being a family man and focused on living a low-key life. He loved watching western movies, listening to music, and most of all driving in his beloved Chevy Impala. He will truly be missed.
Jose always liked to keep things short and sweet, so we will leave you with this when faced with many of life's challenges, he would say "suit up" and handle your business.
