OBITUARY
His Story, His Life, His Legacy
David Amos Morson, the beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2025, at the age of 75. Born in Port of Spain, Trinidad, on March 31, 1950, David was the youngest child of John and Carmen Morson.
In 1967, David migrated to the United States and settled in Boston, Massachusetts. A few years later, David began his professional career in the telecommunications industry with New England Telephone and Telegraph Company. His employment spanned several corporate mergers, totaling just under 40 years at the time of his retirement.
David was never one to miss a fête, and his love for music especially steelpan was matched only by his passion for sports and solving jigsaw puzzles. His calm demeanor and subtle humor made him a grounding force for those around him, and his generosity knew no bounds. Whether at work, at home, or in the vibrant Caribbean community of Boston, his calm presence, genuine heart, gentle humor, and generous spirit made him a source of comfort and inspiration for everyone.
Above all, David treasured his family. He was a devoted father to Shevonne Morson and a proud grandfather to Cierra MorsonOwens, Jamica Morson, Jasmin Curry, and David Morson, always placing their happiness and well-being at the center of his world. His love and guidance have left an indelible mark on their lives and will continue to shape future generations.

Matthew 8:5-8
And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, and saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
Matthew 5:1-4
And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: and he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
