OBITUARY

Kereen Annmarie Campbell affectionately known to most as “Nabby” was born on October 18, 1982, to Calma and Ezekiel Campbell in Kingston, Jamaica. Kereen completed her schooling at Alpha Primary School in Kingston, Jamaica, she then attended Dunoon Technical high School and graduated from Northern High school in Baltimore, Maryland. Her life was a testament to the beauty of kindness and affection. Kereen had a heart overflowing with love, and her nurturing spirit touched the lives of all who crossed her path. She was a beacon of light, always radiating positivity and joy, and her infectious smile could brighten even the darkest of days. Kereen gave her only daughter Amya so much love, she was truly her pride and joy. We see that love shining through in the amazing things Amya has already accomplished.

Kereen found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially in the kitchen. Cooking was not just a task for her; it was an expression of love. Her delicious meals were made with care and infused with the warmth of her heart, bringing comfort to those she cared for. We will forever talk about her oxtail, curry goat and rice & peas. Her culinary creations will be remembered as a symbol of her love and devotion. Beyond her culinary talents, Kereen had a passion for cleanliness and order. She took pride in creating a welcoming and harmonious environment, where every corner was filled with her loving touch. Her dedication to ensuring the comfort of her loved ones knew no bounds.

Kereen’s greatest gift was her ability to light up a room with her presence. Her laughter was contagious, and her genuine kindness touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a void that can never be filled, but her memory will continue to inspire

and uplift those who carry her in their hearts.

On Monday, April 1, 2024, after battling a terminal illness, she was called home to be with the Lord. Kereen went through her battle with this disease while constantly loving on and taking care of her family. She was an amazing daughter, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to everyone around her. She will be truly missed. While we miss the presence of Nabby, we know that her soul belonged to Jesus and that heaven is her final resting place. We delight in the fact that she is resting with our Lord and Savior.

Kereen’s legacy will live on through her beautiful and intelligent daughter Amya. She will always be loved and missed by her mother, Calma. Kereen’s siblings Nadine, Kirk, Amelia, Stephen, Christopher, David and Odette will carry the memory of their sister in their hearts everyday. Kereen’s gentle kindness will be missed by her nieces, nephews, close family and friends.

WE WILL MISS YOU FOREVER
