The family of the Late Mr. Reginald “Reggie” Cummings wishes to express their heart felt gratitude to everyone for their kindness, prayers and love during this time of bereavement.

a jam and he even named his second oldest daughter, after her. The eldest of his two younger brothers, Reggie doled out tough love, valuable life lessons, and offered support and protection from the outside world. Reggie had an immense impact on his brother Josh’s life. Josh idolized his older brother and could often be found tagging along on any one of Reggie’s ventures. Through tough brotherly love, Reggie taught Josh how to fight.

Josh quickly learned that no one hit harder than his older brother, but that also, that no one had his back more than him either. In addition to the family, he was born into, Reggie went on to create a family of his own. He had four beautiful daughters that he loved and cared for deeply. Although he had significant relationships throughout his life, he would go on to marry, the love of his life, Tina. Reggie and Tina withstood many hardships and were fiercely loyal to each other. He allowed her to see his vulnerable side and trusted her more than anyone in the world. She was the Bonnie to his Clyde.

In addition to his immediate family, we would be remiss if we didn’t mention the love he shared with his Aunts, Uncles and First Cousins. Each Aunt and Uncle loved him like a son, especially his Aunt Barbara and Late Aunt, Delphine. His cousins: Terrell, Jamal, Andrea, Stephen, Kalise, Anglique, and Ayanna, all had a special and unique, sibling- like relationship with Reggie. They all loved and influenced him in different ways, and all had a special place in his heart. Lastly, being raised in a blended family afforded Reggie the opportunity to have Bonus Brothers. His nephews, Jonathan and Kris were his nephews that were raised as his brothers. John, whom he affectionately named, “J-Shellz” was his right-hand man and best friend growing up, while Krisopher was more like a younger brother.

While his physical presence may be gone, his legacy remains a testament to second chances, resilience, determination, and never giving up on your dreams. He was an intelligent, charismatic, persuasive, ladies’ man with a knack for reading people and gaining the trust, loyalty, love, and the respect of others. Reggie was no stranger to trials and tribulations, but to his family, and those who were fortunate to know him on a personal level, he was just… Reggie. He was our happy- go -lucky-goof ball, who loved his family and always aspired to make them proud and while his passing is untimely, it brings his family comfort to know that he left this world, while in a music studio, doing what he loved.

Reggie leaves to cherish in his memory his wife, Tina Marie Cummings of Haverhill, MA, his mother, Francine Cole of Newburyport, MA, and his father, Reginald Cummings of North Carolina. His Children: Ivonna Cummings, Mya Cummings, Jasmyn Cummings \ and Kitana Cummings. He also leaves his siblings: Kyanna Lees and her husband, Jon, Joshua Williams and his fiancé, Kellie, Justin Cole and his fiancé, Jessica, Tyla Christmas, Jada Cummings, and Bryce Cummings. Also, his stepsiblings, Wayne Jr. and Cheryl Cole. His grandparents, Pearline Johnson and Sarah Cummings-Grant and her husband, Jonathan. His Aunts and Uncles, Tangela, Barbara, Bernard and his wife, Samaria. His Uncle Charles and his wife Sheila, Daimon, Andrew, Valasia and Moneek and Fred. Reggie will be missed by his cousins George, Jamal and his fiancé Kei, Andrea, Stephen and his wife Holly, Charles and his wife Clara, Paul, Danielle, Deshia, Terrell and his wife, Laura, Ayanna, Angelique, and Kalise. Reggie also leaves behind a host of fiercely loyal fans and friends. He is predeceased by his Stepfather, Wayne Cole, Sr., Grandfathers, Andrew Stallings, Elvester Cummings, and his step grandfather, James Johnson. His Aunts Andrea and Delphine. His Uncles James, Paul, Moses, and Bryce.

O B I T U A R Y

Reginald DePaul Cummings, affectionately known as "Reggie," 36, passed away on October 31, 2023, in Miami, Florida. From the moment Reggie entered this world on February 21, 1987, his mother knew that he was a force to be reckoned with. A complicated delivery, which almost cost his mother her life; only strengthened their bond and proved that he was resilient, determined, and strong. Born to Francine (Stallings) Cole and Reginald Cummings, he was raised in the city of Newburyport, but also spent his summers and weekends in Boston with his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Reggie attended Newburyport public schools, and enjoyed hobbies such as skateboarding, rollerblading, and snowboarding. In addition to these hobbies, anyone who knew Reggie knew that music was his passion. During his Middle School years, he became fascinated with the hip-hop duo, known as the Insane Clown Posse or ICP. He and his friends who were followers of the ICP Movement, called themselves Juggalo’s, as that’s what the ICP fan base were known as. They would take pleasure in wearing clown face paint, attending concerts all over New England and engaging in competitive free style rap battles amongst themselves.

His talent for rapping was validated, when his freestyle battles caught the attention of Rap Superstar, Method Man. At the age of thirteen, Reggie was invited to join Method Man for a rap cameo on stage at one of his concerts. Performing with Method Man was a highlight for Reggie and inspired him to believe in himself and to pursue music full time. Upon graduating from high school, he enrolled in classes at Northern Essex Community College, but the lessons that he would teach himself proved to be more tangible. Reggie understood that penetrating the music industry was no easy feat. Rather than waiting for a scout or music producer to discover his talents, Reggie, who became known as “RE Clipz” would go on to create and his own music production company, “Proficient Records” and owned and operated his own music studio. A man of many talents, Reggie was very business savvy. He was an entrepreneur, who could turn a dime into a dollar. Self-taught, he became skilled in graphic design, which allowed him to create marketing and promotional materials, for himself and others. In addition to producing his own music, he became known for producing the music of other aspiring artists as well. He ultimately transitioned to producing and directing his own music videos and performing live at local venues within the Newburyport, Salisbury, Haverhill, and Hampton Beach area.

Reggie was able to propel his dreams of working in the music industry when he moved to Miami, Florida. While in Florida, he was mentored by his older cousin, Chuck.

Chuck took him under his wing and introduced Reggie to influential people in the music industry. As a result of never giving up and believing in himself, Reggie worked on the music videos of superstars, such as Lil' Wayne, DJ Kalid, French Montana and Rick Ross. Some of the projects he was most proud of included working on The Jimmy Fallon Show with Kodak Black, the BET Hip hop Awards, and collaborations with Dipset and Conway the Machine.

Reggie left an indelible mark on everyone he met. Affectionately known as the favorite child, he shared an unbreakable bond with his mother. As a diehard fan, she supported all his musical endeavors and could always be found in the front row of all his concerts.

In addition to the bond, he shared with his mother, Reggie, respected and admired his older sister, Kyanna. Being only five years apart, she was his first best friend, his protector, and someone he grew to rely upon; she was his first call whenever he was in
