OBITUARY

Angeline Thomas

Angeline (Taylor) Thomas was born on June 7th, 1941, in Keysville, Florida, to Ralph Eugene Taylor and Elizabeth (Page) Taylor. Angeline spent her formative years in Ocala, Tallahassee, and Sarasota, Florida. She worked as a waitress and housekeeper for many years before relocating to Boston in 1968 where her uncle the late Vernell Taylor was living.

Angeline met and married George Thomas Jr. (Deceased 1992) and had her eldest daughter Marian Patricia Thomas. Angeline and her three children, Marian Patricia Thomas, Curtis Earl Jackson, and Winnie Thomas would call Boston home from then on.

Angeline went on to find a career in the manufacturing industry at such companies as Polaroid, Honeywell and Telco, where she made a significant impact. Her dedication and commitment garnered her awards and accolades. Angeline was recognized by her colleagues but also served as an inspiration to those who worked alongside her.

Angeline was known to be friendly, straightforward, and loving individual. She had a way of making everyone around her feel comfortable and welcome. Her infectious laughter and warm smile were a source of joy for all who knew her.

Throughout her life, Angeline remained deeply connected to her family, friends and her church home at Blue Hill Missionary Baptist Church, that she joined in the early 1990s and served on the Missionary, Trustees (as treasurer) Deaconess and Mothers’ Board. During her time there she was also a member of the Pastor Support Ministry, supporting

all ministries and providing rides to church members when needed. She had an unwavering devotion to her children, Marian, Curtis, and Winnie, and grandchildren whom she raised with love and dedication. Her role as a mother and grandmother brought her immense pride and satisfaction.

In her free time, Angeline enjoyed various hobbies and activities. She was an avid seamstress, fishing, loved to knit and crochet finding solace and enrichment in the process.

Angeline's legacy of kindness, resilience, and love will live on in the hearts of her family and friends; leaving behind a reminder to us all to cherish the moments spent together and to always treat others with kindness and compassion.

Angeline is survived by her children, Marian Patricia Thomas, Curtis Earl Jackson, Winnie Thomas, her brothers Ralph Eugene Taylor Jr., Buster Fred Harris, sister Gloria Ann Harris-King, grandson Tikeon Sealey, Great grandchildren Daisha Sealey, Daishaun Sealey, Great greatgrandchildren Josiah Carmona, Maliah Carmona, along with extended family members and friends who were touched by her presence. As we mourn her passing, let us also celebrate the remarkable life she lived and the impact she had on those around her.

Though Angeline has departed from this world, her memory will forever remain alive in the stories and memories we share. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love and gratitude of those who knew and cherished her.
