SCRIPTURE READING
PSALMS 23
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, 3 he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. 4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
1 CORINTHIANS 13:4-7
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered; it keeps no record of wrongs.
6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
OBITUARY
Aida Luz Lynch
Sunrise Sunset
August 31, 1952 - August 12, 2024
Aida Lynch was born on August 31, 1952, in Cataño, Puerto Rico, to Miguel Pizarro and Juana Santos. She was one of seven siblings.
Aida attended Theodore Roosevelt High School in Puerto Rico. She moved to Massachusetts in 1973. She started her career as a housekeeper, cleaning and organizing many homes around Massachusetts.
In the 1990s, Aida continued her career as a housekeeper for Hanson Airforce, which was based in Hanson, MA. She was passionate and dedicated to her work there. For example, she woke up at 4:00 AM in the morning to travel to work and did not return home until after 6:00 PM in the evening. While working in the Hanson Air Force base, she formed a bond with all the children and was often mistaken as their teacher.
Aida married Dennis Lynch on July 29, 1996. Within this union, Aida was blessed to share her two children, Iraida (Iris) Carreras and Dennis Pizarro.
Aida was best known for being an avid reader and writer who enjoyed crossword puzzles. She had a vast collection of books, but the Bible was her favorite, as she loved reading scripture above all. When she wasn't reading, Aida was committed to giving gifts to friends and family.
Aida is survived by her husband, Dennis Lynch; daughter, Iraida (Iris) Carreras; son, Dennis Pizarro; daughter-in-law, Lynette Pizarro; grandchildren, Alexander Williams Jr.; Sha’Miah Williams; Tai’Jah Williams; Kyla Williams; Dennis Lorenzo Pizarro; Ashton Williams; and great-grandchildren, Alyana Williams; Artist Garrett; Aliza Wilder; Amor Garrett; Aya Williams; and a brother, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
How Great Thou Art
O Lord my God When I in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made;
I see the stars I hear the rolling thunder
Thy power throughout the universe displayed
Then sings my soul My Saviour God to Thee
How great Thou art, How great Thou art
Then sings my soul My Saviour God to Thee
How great Thou art How great Thou art!
When through the woods, and forest glades I wander,
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees
When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur
And see the brook, and feel the gentle breeze
Then sings my soul My Saviour God to Thee
How great Thou art, How great Thou art
Then sings my soul My Saviour God to Thee
How great Thou art How great Thou art!
And when I think, that God His Son not sparing;
Sent Him to die I scarce can take it in;
That on the Cross, my burden gladly bearing
He bled and died to take away my sin
Then sings my soul My Saviour God to Thee
How great Thou art, How great Thou art
Then sings my soul My Saviour God to Thee
How great Thou art How great Thou art!
When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation
And take me home what joy shall fill my heart.
Then I shall bow, in humble adoration,
And then proclaim: "My God how great Thou art!"
Then sings my soul My Saviour God to Thee
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul My Saviour God to Thee
