Our minimum order value for your local van sale representative is £50. This can be spread across individual packs of any item available within our brochure.

For items ordered but out of stock and not delivered to you, we will not keep these on back order. Please reorder these items next time you place an order.

DELIVERY
We will deliver your order on our own vans within the area highlighted in gold. Your knowledgeable Doughty Cakes representative will fulfil your order there and then from the back of their vehicle, so no waiting around for a parcel delivery, checking for damages or the inconvenience of unpacking your order.

From our family to yours
Founded in 1982 by Peter Doughty, Doughty Cakes has always embraced professionalism, reliability, consistency and innovation.
Seeing an emerging demand for quality cakes from the Continent Peter gave up his job, purchased a van and began importing cakes from Holland, Germany, Spain, France, Belgium and Denmark, selling them into convenience stores across Lincolnshire.
Armed with little more than sheer determination, Peter not only ensured the business was a success but had a second van on the road within the first year.
In 1992 after 10 years of continuous business growth, Peter’s eldest son Mark joined the company bringing his own unique approach and fuelling further success with his fresh ideas.
This was closely followed by Peters second son Carl ‘s arrival in 1995, who has worked his way through the ranks and is now Managing Director bringing a wealth of experience and vision to the business.
Fast forward to 2005 and our current Sales Director Martin Doughty, the youngest of Peter’s sons, started to stamp his mark on the company. His drive, enthusiasm and commitment are infectious and motivates our dedicated sales team to continually focus on customer service and satisfaction.
Now in 2025 Carl and Martin run the company and still hold true to the values that Peter stood for, professionalism, reliability, consistency and innovation and they look forward to welcoming your business to the Doughty family…
