Take the play outdoors!

Come and play in our brilliant enclosed outdoor area!

There’s water fun, our sand play park and a fabulous sun terrace. Our extensive outdoor area includes swings, spinners, slides, climbers etc. The children can make sand pies using the Waterfall equipment with troughs, buckets and spades provided. They can scoop up the sand using the cranes and pulleys and pour it back down through the tubes.

As well as our indoor petting area, we have animal enclosures outdoors, where you can watch the rabbits and guinea-pigs running around and munching their way through the grass!

Please understand that we sometimes have to close the outdoor area due to the great British weather! However, we will try to remain open as much as possible to help you ensure your kids get the fresh air and exercise they need.

We ask for your help in trying to keep the sand outside! There is a hand/foot bath provided and hand towels are available to hire from the Front Desk for a 50p charge.

We’re members of the British Association of Leisure Parks, Pier’s and Attractions (BALPPA), which represents the highest quality visitor attractions in the UK. We check everyone both into and out of the building so that, once you are here, you can relax in the knowledge that your children cannot leave without you.

It’s really important that, if you or your children have an accident or injury whilst you are visiting us, you inform a member of staff in a red or black t-shirt. This will enable us to properly clean the area, as well as record the incident for health and safety purposes.

Rules of Play Please observe the following Adventure Point rules to ensure that everyone is safe:

• In order to maximise the children’s safety and prevent injury we recommend that long sleeves and trousers should be worn. No watches or jewellery please.

Party Packages Adventure Point is the ultimate party venue!

Our basic, 2 hour, party package, the ‘Rainforest Romp’, gives the children 1 hr 15mins play, using all of our fantastic facilities as normal, before spending 45 minutes in the party room of your choice, munching on our tasty, healthy selection of home cooked party food.

Why do the staff wear different coloured t-sh irts?

Most of our staff team we ar the orange coloured t-shirts, however you mig ht have noticed a few oth er colours too! Our till-trai ned staff wear red t-shirts and our supervisors wear bla ck t-shirts. That means you can easily identif y who can help you and who’s in the know!

Why do adults have to pay to enter? We charge for adult guests at all tim es and for adult members during peak periods onl y. The adult charges goe s towards paying for free newspapers and magaz ines.

You also get unlimited use of our excellent free Wi-Fi and we provide com fy leather sofas upstairs.

We need to heat the bui lding for you during the colder months, pay the rent and rates, provide public liability insurance, toilet facilities and cover a wh ole range of other costs wh ich are par t of running a business.

What is included in an unlimited VIP pass? Thi s fantastic deal is great valu e for frequent users. If you visit once a week, an unlimited pass is cer tain ly the most economical way to play! Included in the VIP pass is unlimited ent ry for one child and one accompanying adult at any time we are open.

How long can we stay?

The great news is that the re are no play limits! You are welcome to stay as long as we remain open.

Why do we need to we ar socks on the play fra me?

For health and safety rea sons – we want to preven t injuries from slide burns as well as the spread of verrucae and war ts.

An informal party works just like a play visit – you can just sign in your guests and pay the normal entry charge. We don’t limit the numbers, so feel free to bring as many as you like. We can even reserve a table for you at no extra cost.

We offer some fantastic party packages but if you don’t want to book a party package or if your numbers are too small, we are still more than happy for you to choose us as your venue. Any type or size of celebration is more than welcome here and if you

would like to hold an “informal” party, we will be pleased to help.

During term time when all the big kids are at school, are you stuck for ideas for fun things to do with your toddler? Adventure Point offers a whole host of interactive sessions for tots and parents to take part in together. Our activities are designed for the under 5s and are run by members of our dedicated team.

Entry to the toddler session is free with a token (see Early Bird Deal on the Prices page) or for a £1 charge.

Each day Monday to Friday our Chief will assist the toddlers to make one of the following:

Cheesy Straws Our chef helps make the dough, add the cheese, roll it out and cut it up. She will then wrap it up for the toddlers to take home and bake their cheesy straws for 15 minutes in the oven for a delicious snack!

Cupcake Icing Join our Head Chef Nicola and help her icing some of her delicious home-baked cup cakes. We provide the toddlers with Chef’s hats and aprons as well as cup cakes, piping bags, sprinkles and sweeties. Your tots can then eat their own delicious creations.

Make a Cookie Chef Nicola will show the toddlers how to mix their own cookie dough. Then they can roll the dough and squash it flat ready for cutting into different shapes. Take it home ready to pop it in the oven – lots of lovely mixing and squashing fun to be had!

Pizza Making The tots meet our chef and help roll the dough and prepare their very own pizza! They get to cover the pizza with their favourite toppings as well as lots of cheese and then the chef will wrap them in foil to take home and pop in the oven for tea. Yummy!

Dipping fruit in chocolate This is one for all the chocolate loving under 5s. Our play crew provide freshly chopped fruit and lots of runny chocolate. Mums and Dads – keep your mitts off!
