The new Villajoyosa Auditorium has the ambition to amplify its surrounding activities and concerns in a unique and innovative place.

THESIS 1_The auditorium is the extra place of the surrounding uses.

2_The auditorium is the citizens’ meeting place.

3_The auditorium is the citizens’ place of subjective artistic expression.

4_The auditorium is the citizens’ place of symbolic expression.

5_The auditorium is the meeting place between nature and mankind.

In order to fit bettter with the environment, surrounding mountains 3

shapes are studied.

The new auditorium skin can be mixed with the landscape.

The structrure reduce the visual impact of the trucks.

Also, the plants reduce the C02 levels.

The building program takes places in five levels, all of them surrounded the central public space, the main protagonist.

Side rooms

The side rooms can be used as an extra space for the surround activities. The large space can be used to musical activities.

Pendant spaces

The public space has pendants so skaters can access to all the spaces. The blank walls allow street arts exhibitions and graffitis.

Plants are cultivated in the attic, as they can serve as C02 trucks reduction and birds food. Also, kids from the shcool can learn.
