Paula Cano

Paula Cano is a Bogotanian-born architectural designer based in the United States. She is a second-year Graduate student at the School of Architecture of the University of Texas at Austin M.Arch, specializing in Digital Technology and Sustainable Design. She also holds a B.Arch from the National University of Colombia. Wood Excellence Design Winner (Texas Forestry Association), AAUW, and FAIA fellow, Paula Cano has studied the correlation between construction and cultural reactivation in her native Colombia, Ecuador, and North America. Her background as an architectural designer has driven her to work in Colombia, Germany, North America, and Russia. Paula has served as Editor for ArchDaily and the Spanish magazines Arquitectura&Empresa and El Confidencial. Currently, she works as an architectural sustainable design intern at Terracon Consultant in Austin, Texas.
