MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Hello Residents,

Fall is in full bloom and the early morning crispier air feels so good after a very hot summer Welcome back to our residents who took the summer away from Las Vegas for cooler weather, and now everyone can settle down to another fall and winter in beautiful Sun City Aliante.

You may have noticed that the North Las Vegas Police department has been enforcing the stop sign requirement at Broadwing and Aliante. A number of violators have received a rather hefty fine for failing to come to a full stop, and the police will be setting up additional random dates and times to enforce traffic laws. In conjugation with the stop sign enforcement, I have asked the police to patrol Grand Teton behind Sun City back walls (leading to DR Horton new homes) for speeders especially after dark. As more homes are being built, more cars are on the roads surrounding Sun City, and there are more traffic violations that are beginning to appear Please exercise care while traversing the streets in North Las Vegas.

I can't believe that it will only be several months before you will be asked to participate in electing members to your Board of Directors for 2024-2025. As an advance notice, four (4) seats will be up for election, and you will learn more about the election process as this year winds down. Please spend the time necessary to inform yourself on the qualifications of each candidate as Board members have total influence on the policies and expenditures of your HOA.

I'm eagerly looking forward to the successful conclusion of 2023. Thank you all for continuing to support the policies your Board of Directors implement, in making us a superior place to live while maintaining an entertaining and active lifestyle.
