Four Ways to Bid
Bid In Person
Attend the auction in person on December 12 at Doyle, 290 Dartmouth Street, Boston, MA 02116.
The most exciting way to participate at auction is the traditional method of bidding live in the salesroom.
Clients intending to bid in person must register on the day of the auction with a photo ID.
Absentee Bids
Absentee bids may be placed through the online catalog at Doyle.com or by completing the attached Absentee Bid Form. Online absentee bids will be accepted until 10am, Friday, December 12.
Telephone Bidding
Phone bidding availability is limited and requests are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. All phone bid requests must be placed by 4pm on Thursday, December 11. Phone bid requests are not accepted the day of the sale. All phone bid requests must be submitted online or by completing the attached the Telephone Bid Form.
Live Online Bidding
Live online bidding in real time during the auction is available through our website Doyle.com. Start by clicking on the sale placard on our homepage. Please pre-register for the auction in advance of the sale. (doyle.com/buyers/register-to-bid/)
Payments
Payments will be accepted on-site and at Doyle, 290 Dartmouth Street, Boston, MA 02116. Doyle accepts cash, check, and wire transfer. Payments must be received no later than December 19. All purchased are subject to the Buyer’s Premium and Massachusetts State Tax. All Lots are Sold as is. All sales are final. Please see Terms & Conditions in the catalogue.
Pick Ups
All purchases must be picked up at Doyle at 290 Dartmouth Street, Boston, MA 02116. Pickups can be made between December 15–19. Appointments suggested via the booking website provided on your invoice. Doyle provides no trucking or shipping. Buyers are responsible for providing their own packing materials and labor.
