We do love paper but can’t help falling for the charm of the pixel. That’s why the annual PARATHYRO calendar is this year distributed through our new website www.parathyro.com. The choice of subject matter was influenced by the anticipated arrival of two important events in Cyprus theatre for the year 2012: the inauguration of the first State Theatre and the Theatre Museum of Cyprus. Theatre is the art par excellence that is bounded by time. Since from the experience of the performance only the visual aspect remains as a keepsake, we invited the set and costume designers to take inspiration from their work and make artistic contributions to the calendar of the New Year.
