Bono Personal Horoscope

Paul David Hewson, (born 10 May 1960) is most widely known as Bono, who is an Academy Award nominated and Grammy winning lead singer and main lyricist of the Irish rock band U2.

Bona Married Alison Stewart on 21st August 1982 and together they have four children; Jordan, Memphis Eve, Elijah Bob, Patricius Guggi Q & John Abraham. Aside from his career within the music industry, Bono has been praised for his philanthropic efforts and was also granted an honorary knighthood by Elizabeth II for ‘his services to the music industry and for his humanitarian work’ At the heart of this hugely successful musicians’ Natal Horoscope are the three inner planets of the Sun, Mercury and Venus all located in the 3rd House, which rules personal expression, ideas, belief systems, communication, everyday contacts, siblings, neighbours, technology, short trips, activities etc.

Each of these are located in Taurus starting with Bono’s Sun in Taurus, representing his will and inner motivations. Taurus is a Fixed sign and can give tremendous strength, vitality and stability. Those with this Sun Sign can often be very practical and have a powerful drive to get things done, along with a oodles of perseverance. Venus is the ruling planet of Taurus, and so people with a Taurus Sun Sign can appear attractive and magnetic.

Moon in Scorpio Ironically Bono’s Moon in Scorpio, and the 9th House and the opposite placement to this clustering of energy in Taurus, and this Moon location can represent his sensitivity. But it also forges a fine link to Jupiter in the 12th making him naturally generous and sensitive to those who are less fortunate. The 9th House rules inquisitiveness and Bono may find the unknown attractive and could be a major reason that he is attracted to overseas places, as that could help him to fully realize his emotions and even purpose by the extra stimulation such variety can provide, so there is a paradox between the potential secrecy of Scorpio and this openness.

Bono also has Mercury in Taurus in the 3rd House, which represents his intellect and social life. This will give him quick wits, and a razor sharp way of absorbing information. He is probably a very good advisor and confidant to those around him, in other words, people could trust him with their concerns. He could though with this position sometimes come across as having set opinions and be determined, but this could sometimes be viewed as intolerance to others.

Venus Conjunct Mercury His Venus conjunct Mercury is very postive indeed, again in Venus’s home zone of Taurus and also in the 3rd House which is a fabulous position for Mercury to be. This combination can give great grace to the voice and bestow musical talent. Because his Saturn is in his 12th House but in its home zone of Capricorn Bono is likely to pay close attention to relationships, but with the Ascendant in Capricorn close by he can likely be serious minded and probably doesn’t easily trust people until he really knows them. Despite this, a fine link between the Sun and both Saturn and the Ascendant, are very stabilizing influences in his natal chart. People with Saturn conjunct Ascendant are also known to be good writers, another theme in his professional life.

Taurus is the first of the Earth Signs and about foundations, and so is very physical, this may well mean that Bono enjoys all of his senses to be stimulated (the five senses anyway) He may have well-developed tastes and knows what he likes and does not like.

He could feel comfortable surrounded by things that make him feel luxurious, even if they are simple items.

People with this placement can sometimes view basic security as a priority over their spiritual or emotional needs being met. As a result of this others may feel he is their rock, or they could potentially become frustrated if he does not engage with the nuances of the relationship.
