Ste. Anne Hospital HeliPad Nearly Ready The cement has been poured for the new STARS Helipad outside of the Ste. Anne Hospital and it will be just a few weeks before it is operational. Lorraine Roziere, Executive Director of the Ste. Anne Hospital Fund, said the new Helipad will be a major convenience for both the community, and for all incidents requiring STARS all the way to the Ontario border. “The Aerodrome at Ste. Anne’s hospital allows us to reach a higher standard of health care for years to come,” she noted. “We are hoping to be up and running by November.

Anticipated costs of the project are approximately $300,000 which has been raised through a variety of fundraisers and donations. The money has been used to construct a concrete pad on the east side of the hospital and install special lighting.
