Winter Wonderland At Our Doorstep In the Town of Ste Anne Free Public Skating in town at the Maurice Chaput Arena, 55 Arena Road. Every Sunday from 6 pm to 7 pm ending in March 2022. Public Health Orders are in effect. Masks are to be worn at all times. There is an outdoor rink located behind the arena and skating trails located along the Seine River access to trails in the Redemptoriste Park, behind the Villa Youville. Additionally, the Town of Ste. Anne has snowshoes residents can sign out from the office. If you’d like to try out some winter fun you can Email or call for more info: 204-4225293 or rec@steanne.ca Paradise Walking Trails are east of the town, on the west side of Paradise Road. You can park at the pump station or the recycling building and head west to find the maze of trails that were blazed by
the “Original 5” in 2002. There is lots to see along the way. Richer Dawson Trail Park offers a large outdoor covered skating rink, skating trails around the park leading to another outdoor rink, a tobogganing hill, picnic tables, large and small fire pits around the park. Monominto Trails offer trails for walking, snowshoeing and Ski Trails. The trail begins at the parking lot located at the corner of Hwy 501 and Monominto Rd. There are no washroom facilities located on site. Purple line is the tracked groomed trails, Orange and Red Trails are uniquely dedicated to cross-country skiers, the blue trail is a multiuse trail. Geocaching, which is an outdoor treasure hunt using GPS enabled devices, is also available along the Monominto Trail. There
are 16 caches located throughout the 4 trails onsite. More pics on page 2....
