Salmon Creek Greenway

A simple 3.1 mile paved pathway makes an easy walk along a beautiful waterway for taking a nature break that is home to year round birds, migratory waterfowl, deer, coyotes, rabbits, opossums, raccoons and beavers.

A small portion of the walk shows a few houses offset from the trail but mostly it is a wooded area with small fields that wind along the way rich with bird song, wild flowers and sweet nature aromas of woods, water and plant growth.
This is a lovely path for walkers, joggers and parents with baby strollers. Bikes are allowed though I have yet to see them and dogs are also allowed if leashed.
There are two entry points for the walk with the main entrance at Salmon Creek Klineline Pond requiring a vehicle parking fee on weekdays (though you can go a bit west of the lot to the recreation center parking lot and park for free) and the other trailhead site provides off highway parking along North 36th Avenue.
