This easily accessible, 14-foot-wide concrete path winds along the Columbia River shoreline for a little over five miles, passing monuments, sculptures, historic landmarks, and parks.

It offers spectacular views of the river and Oregon’s second highest mountain, Mount Hood. Ducks, geese, herons, and other water-fowl float happily along the flowing current looking for tasty fish tidbits and nibbles. busy journeys up and down the river while a wide assemblage of air-craft from twin-prop propelled motion from Pearson Airfield fly below the full-thrust airways of military and commercial jets from larger airfields on the Oregon side.

It’s a touchpoint for all things old and new, a thread of pavement that links to the latest architecture of today and just as swiftly thrusts you hundreds of years back into Vancouver’s earliest days with the reconstruction of the Hudson Bay’s Company most prestigious Fort Vancouver.
