Uptown Village

This historic center of Vancouver honors its past while featuring cozy local shops and businesses tucked in between, like a new flavor of vanilla ice cream on mom’s must-eat apple pie.

The words that come to mind to describe Uptown Village is charm, hometown friendliness, and a wonderful place to find something unique and memorable for your first time visit or the hundredth.

Wander through numerous vintage stores, children’s bookstore, and fun places where you can buy and sell comics, or records.

Grab a bite from Joe Brown’s Cafe in business since 1932 or visit Trap Door Brewing, a popular thirdgeneration business that is family friendly until 8pm, or, if you are a bit on the wild side, stop in at Main Street Marijuana, Washington State’s largest cannabis retailer.

Don’t neglect to get your picture taken next to “The Visitor,” a giant steel tentacle (possibly of a dragon or sea monster) slithering from a sewer manhole located at Main Street and West 23rd.

Uptown Village is a kaleidoscope of all things magical, fun, and wonderful.
