The Downtown Farmer’s Market

comes alive every weekend with over 250 rotating vendors offering a constantly changing display of fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, breads, honey, and flowers.

Gorgeous plants from local green houses and farms encourage even the most hesitant green-thumb wannabes to try one more time. Artists, photographers, crafters, jewelry makers, soap makers, and even Catnip-treat makers provide something for everyone. Live music and other entertainers add to the fun. It’s open every Saturday and Sunday from late March to the end of October.

Go early to avoid the crowd, (420,000 shoppers in 2019 pre-Covid) or a bit later to enjoy the hustle, bustle, laughter, and the many fresh food enthusiasts pursuing local fruits and veggies.
