Clark County Museum
Vancouver has a rich history in the forming and settlement of American expansionism.
Since 1917, the Clark County Historical Society (CCHS County Historical Society) has worked to collect and preserve the area’s historic sites, artifacts, and stories.

Over 60,000 artifacts from the mid-1200s through the present are housed and preserved, though only a small portion are available to the public in its present building, the 1909 Carnegie Library.
Current exhibits cover such topics as Clark County’s “Music, Movement and Sound,”; and “History A Brewin” and “Clark County Stories.” The museum goes beyond the confining walls of its physical location and offers guided walking tours, history-on-tap events, and digital and virtual exhibits that are available at any time.
Visiting the Clark County Museum will enrich and expand your knowledge of life along the Columbia River.
