FARI ISLANDS FESTIVAL Following the successful inauguration of the Fari Islands Festival in September 2025, the festival returns as an annual celebration of music, art, cuisine, wellbeing, and nature, set across the Fari Islands archipelago. The inaugural edition took place across Patina Maldives, Fari Islands and The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands, bringing together artists, chefs, wellness partners, and global voices for three days of shared experiences shaped by place, people, and creative exchange. Launched as a platform for cultural collaboration, the Fari Islands Festival continues to evolve with each edition, building on its founding vision while inviting new perspectives and participation.
A LOOK BACK Three days. Two islands. One shared experience.
THE FESTIVAL THROUGH ITS MOMENTS The inaugural edition brought together music, art, cuisine, wellbeing, and nature across multiple settings, creating a programme that balanced curated moments with space for informal interaction. The 2025 festival established a clear framework, defining the scope, scale, and ambition of the event.
CULINARY EXPLORATION SONIC IMMERSION CREATIVE ARTISTRY Poetry, spoken word, print, and visual expression activated spaces across the islands, featuring voices such as Rupi Kaur and collaborations with STPI.
Live performances and curated DJ sessions shaped the festival’s rhythm, with artists including FKJ and Kim Turnbull moving the energy from day into night.
Chef led dining moments, culinary collaborations, and bar led experiences brought flavour and culture together, with highlights from WAGYUMAFIA, Danico, Nutmeg & Clove, and nourishment shaped in collaboration with Rosemary Ferguson.
NATURE AMPLIFIED
BODY, MIND & SOUL Wellbeing experiences focused on balance, care, and presence, developed through collaborations with Allies of Skin and bamford.
The natural environment remained central, with storytelling and guided encounters led by Gibbs Kuguru, grounding the festival in land, sea, and heritage.

THE THREE DAY EXPERIENCE WHAT TO EXPECT Fari Islands Festival unfolds over three days, designed around flow rather than fixed schedules. Rupi Kaur A poetry gathering led by Rupi Kaur, where spoken word created moments of pause, reflection, and shared emotion.
WAGYUMAFIA An immersive dining experience by WAGYUMAFIA, transforming the table into a place of craft, theatre, and cultural exchange.
Across the festival, guests can expect a balance of structured moments and open exploration, opportunities for conversation and experiences revealed progressively. Experiences take place across multiple settings and times of day, allowing guests to move freely between moments of participation, observation, and discovery. Gibbs Kuguru A guided shark expedition led by Gibbs Kuguru, offering a powerful connection to the marine environment and the natural world surrounding the islands.
FKJ A closing night performance by FKJ, where live music and sound marked the final evening of the festival.
CLOSING NIGHT FARI MARINA FIESTA
The festival concludes at Fari Marina Village with a shared celebration of flavour, sound, and community. A curated gathering bringing together culinary expressions from both resorts across Fari Islands, alongside local vendors and pop up concepts. Live music carries through the marina as guests move between kitchens, conversations, and tables, transforming the space into a culinary haven shaped by rhythm, discovery, and connection.
