Shampoos & conditioners

A clarifying shampoo, such as Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo, can help remove Holi colours from hair. These shampoos contain stronger cleansing agents than regular shampoos, which can help break down and remove the colour. Black Charm hair oil by Secret Hair Care can be applied before stepping out as well as for post Holi hair care. Various ingredients, such as coconut oil, curry leaves, brahmi and bhringraj, not only help control hair fall and dandruff, but also aid in nourishing dry scalp and hair growth.

To summarise it for you all, remember that while it’s important to carry out all these measures to restore your skin and hair health, a lot of the damage can be avoided if you take proper precautions before stepping into the Holi arena. Wearing protective clothing, including full-sleeved tops and full-length bottoms is one. Make sure your eyes don’t come in contact with any kind of colours, mixtures or sprays being used during the celebrations. Most importantly, stay safe and if you have to use a vehicle, don’t overspeed. Happy Holi, everyone!
