Pass The Spatula is a student-led magazine focused on the exploration of culinary arts and food media. The magazine is created by the students of the Food Education Fund’s Food Media Program and features a diverse range of content that includes interviews with up-and-coming entrepreneurs, tips and tricks for starting a business, and a variety of mouth-watering recipes. For Issue 4, the theme is Entrepreneurship, with subtopics that include food vendors, local business owners, and intersectional identities in food. We’re excited to feature inspiring entrepreneurs such as Sohla El-Waylly, Paola Velez, Pilar Valdes, and Evelia Coyotzi. The previous editions of Pass The Spatula focused on Chefs of Color, Food Justice, and Global Food and Mental Health Awareness.
