Electronics Mounts for Motorcycling

otorcycling is about getting away from it all, but it’s also nice to stay in touch and to know where you’re going. RAM® Mounts are designed to keep riders connected and to keep gadgets secure while riding. RAM motorcycle mounts utilize a patented ball and socket design that ensures a strong hold while dampening road vibration. Adjustable mounts enable a rider to easily swap out components, so various sizes and brands of phones, GPS units and other devices can be accommodated. All RAM Mounts are made in the USA and come with a lifetime warranty.
Riders who need to mount larger devices can opt for the RAM Tough-Claw with the RAM X-Grip large phone cradle. The width adjusts from 1¾ inches to 4½ inches, while the height adjusts from 3¼ inches to 5½ inches.
The Brake/ Clutch Reservoir Mount with the universal X-Grip cradle
The RAM Tough-Claw base is a sturdy piece that clamps to bars ranging from 0.625 inch to 1½ inches in diameter, and to flat surfaces up to 1.14 inches. The mount rotates 360 degrees for added adjustability. The RAM Handlebar U-Bolt Mount with the RAM Quick-Grip™ phone holder features a zinc-coated U-bolt base, double socket arm and spring-loaded cradle that will support most phones.
Two phone mounts that utilize the RAM universal X-Grip® phone cradle are the RAM Brake/Clutch Reservoir Mount, which is an extremely versatile mount that works on most bikes, and the easy-to-install RAM Tough-Claw™. The RAM X-Grip phone cradle has a clean four-leg design that firmly grips a phone without obstructing the screen. The spring-loaded cradle expands and contracts, allowing for a custom fit of any mobile phone. The cradle has a width range of 1¾ inches to 3¼ inches. The height adjustability ranges from 2¼ inches to 4¼ inches. It also includes a device tether for powersports applications. The RAM Brake/Clutch Reservoir Mount comes with hardware for mounting the unit to brake/clutch reservoirs and bars ranging from ½ inch to 1¼ inches in diameter. The ball and socket system has adjustment points at both ends of the socket arm allowing the user to achieve an ideal viewing angle. The mounting hardware includes both standard and metric mounting bolts, making it compatible with virtually all models.

The mount will accommodate bars from ½ inch to 1¼ inches in diameter, and the ball and socket system has adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm. The U-bolt mount has cradle clamping dimensions of 4¾ inches to 5¾ inches in height, and 1¼ inches to 3¼ inches in width.

This mount will hold a number of Garmin GPS units.
There is also a brake/clutch reservoir mount for the Garmin nuvi 220, 500, 510, 550 and zumo 220 GPS units. The mounting hardware, including both standard and metric bolts, allows the mount to be put on the brake/clutch reservoirs or on bars that are ½ inch to 1¼ inches in diameter. A diamond adapter base, custom high-strength cradle, and ball and socket ensure security and adjustability. ■
