Production and quality control are paramount to ensure precise fitment and consistent finishing of the final product, requiring complete production control starting with selection of premium raw materials and incorporating the latest technology in 3D scanning and CNC machining, vibration and tensile force testing all the way through the production process.

By utilising the excellent aging and mechanical properties of NR/BR blend rubber at different ratios to suit the application, both tensile and tear strengths can be maintained while retaining higher compression stiffness and deformation resistance than would normally be possible. Where applicable, products are finished with an oxidation and abrasion resistant coating or powder coated rather than traditional painting which is prone to cracking and flaking.

Quality aside, not all engine mounts and bushings are created equal and externally you might be able to tell. Many modern Japanese, Korean and European Automotive OEM’s incorporate hydraulic technology into specific engine mounts and suspension bushings.

Hydraulic engine mounts and bushing have hollow chambers filled with hydraulic fluid, many with valves and diaphragms. Hydraulic technology offers superior damping characteristics, especially in the low frequency (engine idle) range. This provides superior vibration isolation that would otherwise be transmitted to the chassis.

Many aftermarket offerings are incapable of this technology or ignore it to reduce manufacturing costs and market a product consisting of a hollow shell offering poor dampening performance, well below the OEM parts they replace. This product may pass a WOF check, only to cause unwanted vehicle vibrations, a rattle in the dashboard that wasn’t there before and a reduced lifespan of the product itself.
