A Night of Golden Stars Parthians were the stars of the evening at the Civic Center on 16th July 2022 as we came together in dazzling dinner outfits to celebrate Parthian@10. Nothing compares to the energy and good vibes which graced the occasion. Fine dining, good music and great cheers flowed throughout the evening.

The award presentations and Wande Coal’s performance were the highlights of the event. Check out some of the beautiful moments that made our 10th Anniversary a gala truly ‘A Night of Golden Stars.’

We sat down for a chat with our Group CEO, Oluseye Olusoga to discuss the importance and significance of our 10th anniversary milestone celebration.

Below are excerpts of his comments on Parthian@10.

"We are here today because of you!"

Parthian’s greatest assets is people, says Oluseye Olusoga, MD/CEO, Parthian Group A decade ago, we took the first step towards becoming Africa’s dominant market maker in Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities.

The wholesale brokerage industry is one with huge potentials though when we decided to setup the first ever interdealer brokerage business in Nigeria, there was no regulatory framework, the industry didn’t even exist. Now, there are so many other businesses in Nigeria who do what we do. We are happy that we have pioneered a bourgeoning industry that improves liquidity, financial integration, transparency and efficiency in the African OTC and fixed income market.

Parthian has maintained a history of firsts through the decade – we were the first non-banking institution to push the EUROBOND agenda in Nigeria. We also launched the first investment app, i-invest, back in 2018 before investment apps became a fad. We were also the first interdealer broker to successfully raise and redeem a 20-billion-naira commercial paper.

None of these would have been possible without the dedication and hard work of highly committed people, clients, partners, mentors, and friends who bought into the Parthian vision.

I want to specially thank our people!

Parthian Partners made history as the first InterDealer Broker in Nigeria to issue and successfully redeem a N20Billion (NGN) Commercial Paper on the FMDQ Exchange.
