“What made my weekend? I finished my first ever 10k race after losing 144 pounds. During the race every song from WPER hit the right time in my run. I was able to worship our wonderful God my whole race. My daughter cheered me on as I crossed over the finish line. I don’t think I have ever smiled so much. I thanked God the whole way for carrying me this far!”

Station Tour with Dominion Care
We had some friends from Dominion Care stop by for a tour of WPER. Kaitlyn, Ronald and David, along with their caregiver, Sherry, had such a great time!
Hope Boxes Drop-off
Alli, Bexley & Lucas came by the station today with their Mom & Oma to drop off Hope Boxes. They each made 2 boxes for children in their age groups. Theresa gave them in impromptu tour of the studio!
