Celebrated with a Business Partner
On Saturday (5/3), Jordan had the opportunity to join one of our business partners, RJ Hupp Autos, at their grand opening in Gallipolis, OH. It was an honor to celebrate with them and to play Jesus music out in the community!
Aspire Women’s Event
On 5/3, Brittany and Katelyn attended an Aspire Women’s event at Gregoryville Christian Church in Grayson, Ky. We had so much fun meeting so many listeners at the sold out show and worshipping alongside so many women!
Unexpected Conversation at the Bank (Brittany)
“When I was out earlier taking a deposit to the bank, the teller noticed the station car and told me that his wife and his mom both listened to the station. I immediately said ‘that’s awesome! Tell them thank you for listening! I’ll be sure to bring something by for them next time.’ As he’s processing the deposit, he said that his wife is not originally from here and was looking for a local Christian station, and he told her that his mom liked and listened to WALK FM, and had since he was a teenager (he’s a young one lol). So she started listening and said that she always has it on in her car, and so does his mom. He said he was more of a podcast guy, which then lead to a conversation about our app!
Productive trip to the bank, I think!
Memorial Day Parade
The Walk FM team participated in the the 157th annual Memorial Day Parade in Ironton, OH. This parade is the longestrunning Memorial Day Parade in the nation and brings thousands upon thousands together. We look forward to being a part of this parade each year!
