The Story of Lazarus Helped Listeners We had two separate listeners, Jacob and Rachel, message us about one of Derek and Kyle’s breaks during our Spring Fundraiser.

Kyle spoke about Lazarus and referenced versus such as Romans 8:28 and Genesis 50:20. This message was unplanned, but God knew the hearts of our listeners and knew exactly what they needed at that moment.

During fundraiser, we had THREE listeners (Betty, Meade Station Church, and Catlettsburg Southside Nazarene) surprise us with a donation of ButterflyHugs®!

What Derrick and Kyle are talking through on the radio is such an answered prayer right now! Really love y’all so much.

Wow, that’s amazing! God is good and thank you to Kyle for following His lead! It couldn’t have been said more perfectly while there’s a giant, difficult and painful situation I’m going through.

It was probably for others as well, but it was definitely for me too. I already see God working in my situation, and that message was extreme encouragement and reminder that God’s got it. Thank you! Have a blessed day!

American Heritage Girls Visit Walk FM We had the pleasure of welcoming the American Heritage Girls (Troop 2025) for a station tour on April 15th! During their visit, the girls colored ButterflyHugs® and stepped into the recording studio to record their Creed and Mission Statement. They loved getting a behind-thescenes look at the station and came ready with lots of great questions.

“Fill My Cup” Helps a Listener Just got a call from a sweet listener named Deborah who was listening to a break during Kyle’s show right after the song “Fill My Cup,” where he talked about the scripture that says “my cup runneth over,” the cup from the Last Supper, and when Jesus asked of His Father to “let this cup pass from Me”:

“I just want to say that my cup runs over as well! I’ve been in so much pain and had trouble getting around, so I called a friend and asked her to pray for me. God heard her prayer because today I can get up and walk around so much easier than I could yesterday.”

We dropped off ButterflyHugs® on 4/23 at NeuroRestorative, a facility that provides rehabilitation services for individuals of all ages with brain and spinal cord injuries, complex illnesses, behavioral health challenges, and more. It was an honor to share hope and encouragement with their participants!

She then requested a couple songs, one in particular being “Man On the Middle Cross” and went on to say:

“I’ve been the one on the other cross that had to ask for forgiveness, and I’m so thankful that He still forgives.”

She spoke on how encouraging and inspiring the station is to her, especially when she’s having physical issues. She prays for the station, and loves the ministry and all that we do.

Two Concerts – One Day On 4/26, the Walk FM team split up to attend two concerts! Half of our team headed to Charleston, WV for We The Kingdom, while the rest went to Portsmouth, OH for Rend Collective. We loved getting to worship with and meet so many of our amazing listeners at both events. One of our favorite memories from the night was when our donor and friend, Tammy, surprised us with Insomnia cookies!

Spring Fundraiser 2025 — Quotes from Donors Josiah Queen's cover of "Jesus Freak" by DC Talk inspired one of our listeners to do a $500 personal challenge. She shared with us that this song is what inspired her son to return to the faith and go back to church and that this song helped bond them, in faith, as a family. Her faithfulness to do a personal challenge resulted in $1,100 total. God did even more than she could ask or imagine with her personal challenge and step of faith. As did He with redeeming her son's life.

Jacob gave up his lunch every day of our Spring Fundraiser and donated what he would have spent on food. He spent each day fasting and praying for us.

Amanda gives in honor of the ladies at Field of Hope rehabilitation center. She was the first graduate of this program and now is able to council to others. Walk FM is one of the only signals that they receive in their area and she shares our music with her clients every day. It has sparked many gospel conversations.

7 year old, Eli, felt led to give a gift from his piggy bank.

We had a listener call and donate because Walk FM has helped provide encouragement to her as she battles everyday in her journey with sobriety. She shared that every day is hard and she wants to give up, but hearing uplifting music keeps her focused on her “why.”

Betty works in a hair salon and uses Walk to tell her clients about Jesus every single day.
