When the Perfect Song Plays at the Perfect Moment
(Our dear friend, Amy, emailed us this morning as she was on her way to her appointment for surgery on her wrist. It’s so incredible to hear from our listeners as they testify of God’s grace and faithfulness in their lives — and an extra bonus of encouragement, to know that Spirit FM got to be part of their journey.)
“Good morning! When the song “’Scars” first came out, it really hit home for me because God has brought me through so many health problems and challenges in my life: brain tumor, seizures, infertility, and on and on. Here I am now, free of seizures for 35 years and two great kids. The first time I ever heard that song, it meant so much to me about God’s faithfulness. Here I am this morning, heading to UVA for a long surgery for my wrist, and you happened to play that song! What a smile that put on my face! Thank you for blessing me, as you always do! –Amy.”
From Listeners
Grace got this text over a weekend, and it truly blessed her heart.
“Thank you all for spreading truth and light in such a dark world!”
We’re thankful we get to be part of this ministry together—shining His light with one heart and one mission.
Our great friend, Sarah, drives for Uber and plays Spirit FM in her car while working.

Steph purchased something from Facebook marketplace and Lindsay dropped it off at the station. Afterwards, she shared this with Steph.

We are receiving lots of love from listeners for Jess & her grand return.
“It’s nice to have Jess back in the mornings. Glad you are feeling better!”
Staying Plugged In to What God Is Doing Locally
On Friday, September 5th, Jackie and Joseph had the wonderful opportunity to be at We the Kingdom Unplugged in Eden, NC. It was such a blessing to be surrounded by the community— encouraging others, having meaningful conversations, and giving back in a tangible way.
From the powerful songs of worship to the conversations before the concert and during intermission, every moment reminded us just how important it is to stay plugged in to our community. We are so thankful for the chance to be part of what God is doing here!

(Our friend, volunteer, donor, and business partner Kristie is off enjoying a beautiful cruise with her husband— making wonderful memories together! Even while she’s away, she knows how important it is to keep her spirit filled with hope and encouragement… so she took Spirit FM with her!)
“You know what’s awesome!! I’m all the way in Florida still enjoying my favorite inspirational music played by my awesome friends on Spirit FM!! The app is wonderful!!! It’s nothing like being away from home and still being very connected!! I love y’all!! Have an awesome open house today, a beautiful day, and I will be seeing you soon!!! –Kristie”
Cards for Vets
Our dear friend and fundraiser volunteer, Teresa, sent us these heartwarming pictures and update.
“It’s that time of year again. We’re making cards for our Veterans! This is Mr. Alvis .. he’s a veteran too. This is the gentleman that I look after. He’s 95 years young.”

Faith Through the Hardest Moment
This note was included when Carolyn mailed her gift to the ministry:
“My mother in law recently passed away. She was a non-believer. During her last days I tried to read the scripture to her and talk to her about how much God loves her and wants her to be with him in eternity. We will one day see if she accepted Him into her heart. This is the last bit of money she gave me. I would like it to go to your station so you can help spread the word of God until all have heard.”

We were so blessed to meet Savannah at Spirit FM’s Fall Open House! God brought her through so much and led her to this ministry. Her story of faith and redemption is such an inspiration!
Fall Open House
Who would have thought that a listener-supported radio ministry could make such an impact—that people would come out early on a Saturday morning, eager to meet the Spirit FM Team and see what happens behind the scenes? We’re so grateful for everyone who joined us!

This Is Why We Do What We Do
(A listening friend sent this heartfelt and faith-filled message to the station this morning. Praise God for His working hand throughout this ministry to bring His people closer to Him!)
“Thank you all so much for being the Angels in my life, and being apart of such an amazing inner healing I couldn’t find or receive for so long…. I just don’t have the words, so all I can say is I love each and every one of you, and so many more seen and unseen. All of you have helped me be the man I’ve always meant to be… time to walk it out with peace...faith…courage…and discipline. We haven’t seen anything yet!!! To be continued. Thank you, Lord, for all of these amazing days to serve You in every aspect! –James”
Love from Georgia Steph received this thank you card from a friend and supporter in Georgia!

The Gift of Encouragement
We had the joy of meeting Chris and Lisa from Rocky Mount at our Fall Open House! It was such a blessing to hear their stories and see their heart for serving the Lord. They were such an encouragement to the Spirit FM Team that day—and that encouragement continued when we received a thoughtful card from Lisa.

Henry Country Fair
We had such an amazing time at the Henry County Fair with Rhett Walker in concert!
Even though the weather was a little dreary, the joy was undeniable. From all the fun of the fair to a vibrant time of praise and worship, the night was filled with energy, encouragement, and God’s presence.
What a blessing to see the community come together!

The Power of Empathy & Care
t’s such a blessing to be used by God through this ministry—walking alongside His people in both joyful and difficult seasons. We recently received a heartfelt letter from Jonathan, a listener Doug met at last year’s Big Daddy Weave concert. His words remind us that even a simple moment of encouragement can make a lasting impact. We may never fully see how God uses it—but He does, in mighty ways.

A listening friend texted to share her heart for the ministry while also giving the Spirit FM Team the opportunity to be in prayer for her. It's so humbling to have people within the community be able to come to the ministry as a safe place to share their lives.
“Thank you for giving me a way to listen to Christian music outside of my car....it ministered to me yesterday. I lost my brother the day before Easter this year, and I’ve been struggling this year to stay faithful. Thank you, so much”
