Teacher Love Notes at Rustburg
On August 5th, we had the joy of visiting Rustburg Elementary to share our Teacher Love Notes with the staff as they prepared for the upcoming school year.
Sharing the Love with Local Teachers
Steph, Robyn, and Laurissa from Blue Eagle Credit Union spread encouragement by handing out Love Notes to teachers and staff at William Fleming High, Patrick Henry High, and Lord Botetourt High in Roanoke. The teachers were so appreciative and truly felt the love!

Celebrating Connor’s New Life in Christ
On August 13, we had the honor of celebrating with Darrick, one of our Day Sponsors, as he remembered the life of his son, Connor, and the faithful hand of our Lord. This morning, Darrick emailed us with joyful news—Connor was baptized on Sunday! We are so thankful for God’s work in his life and grateful to share in this powerful testimony of faith.

Steph had the joy of personally delivering a Big Daddy Weave poster to our social media winner, Kathy, a teacher at Bedford Elementary. Giveaways are always exciting, but nothing compares to meeting listeners face-to-face and seeing the joy on their faces. Moments like this are truly priceless!
A Night of Fellowship & Gratitude
We had such an incredible time at our Roanoke Donor Dinner to kick off the Fall Fundraiser! The evening was filled with laughter, inspiring stories, and wonderful fellowship—not to mention delicious food. What a perfect way to celebrate the heart of our Spirit FM family and launch into this exciting season together!
Ministry That Matters
Douglas is part of the Spirit FM Family. Last August, he chose to air a Day Sponsor message to honor his beloved late wife on what would have been their 40th anniversary. Out of respect, Doug’s message only aired once, but this August, when that anniversary came around again, the Spirit FM Team sent him a card to uplift and encourage him.
Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. Even when we question, “Does this really matter? Will it make an impact?,” the answer is “yes!” God uses every act of love and ministry, big or small, for His glory.
