She also mentioned Josh, John, and Brendan, saying how much she loves each of them and how every day something they say, or a song they play, touches her heart.”

Radio That Ministers

At the start of summer, when Evie joined Josh on the midday show, a listener named Robert called in and asked if Evie would pray for him. She did, right there on the air.

Fast forward to last week, and Robert sent Josh and Evie a thoughtful letter along with some books he wrote, thanking them for their prayers and encouragement. It was a beautiful reminder of how God can use even a simple moment on the radio to touch hearts and build lasting connections.

Spreading Joy in Boone! Our Business Underwriter, Meredith was invited to set up a Joy FM table at Cornerstone Book Store in Boone during their book signing. She ran into a few Joy FM fans and made some new fans!

“Thank you ever so much for sending the recording from my day sponsor on September 19, 2025. Words cannot express the joy that filled my heart the first time I heard it on the 19th. Blessedly, the moment I turned my radio on that morning, what did I hear, but Melody announcing my name as a sponsor for that day. By the time she finished, I was in tears of joy for the message. I plan to share it with the rest of my family, especially my daughter, Lisa, whose birthday was on that date along with that of one of her first cousins, Traci, who was born on the same day as Lisa. Traci was born in the morning and Lisa was born in the afternoon on that same day. Both of them adored our parents and I’m sure they will be as overjoyed as I was when I first heard the recording. It really made my day and I heard it each and every time it was played on that date. I thank God each day for JOY FM and for all the people like you, Wendy, who diligently and faithfully work to serve the listening community in sending out the Word in music and through your words of encouragement.
