Two Visits in One Day!

This gentleman with the Joy FM family listens to us all the way from Aruba! Right now he is living half here and half Aruba, and loves Joy FM wherever he is! We also had our precious Prayer Warrior, Helen, come by to bring us chocolates and fruit. Mrs. Helen is the sweetest!

Cracker Barrel

We had another successful Cracker Barrel Breakfast. We really got to know these wonderful donors and each one is so precious. We had a blast!

We are Made for More (email to Wendy)

“I received the "Made for More" newsletter and it was so encouraging. The radio station is a wonderful blessing! The enemy knows how to whisper lies to us that discourage us and cause us to feel unworthy. As believers in Christ, we are chosen, free and forgiven. There is much in this world to cause fear and doubt and we all need to hear the uplifting music and ministry of Joy FM. I need to be reminded often of God's love for me, and I am sure that other people need that too. When I am hurting, the music ministers to me and lets me know that I'm not alone in the struggles of life. I am very thankful for the radio station and for the opportunity to help financially so that others can be blessed. Thank you all!”

“There are absolutely so many songs that give me encouragement on Joy FM but one of my favorites is ‘Never No Never’ by Joseph Havedank and ‘The Old Rugged Cross’.”

Festivals of Tables

Shelley and Wendy were invited to speak at a church event, “Festivals of Tables.” They had beautiful tables set up in various themes and everyone got to vote on their favorite table! The ladies were super sweet and made Joy FM feel at home. We are now “honorary members” of the church, and have an invite to come back next year and set up a table!

How is God working in your life?

“God works in my life every morning I wake up. We never know from day to day what is in store for us but if we are fortunate to wake up in the morning then we should give thanks to God and glorify him...”

Young Talent for the Day

This talented young lady, Evie, enthralled listeners as she was her dad’s sidekick for the day!

The listeners fell in love with her, calling her amazing, excellent, and even magical! That was one description from a longtime listener.

Then a precious soul called to ask little Evie to pray for him. He wanted God to use him in a special way to share the Gospel with people.

We enjoyed listening to this special Joy FM segment, and it seemed that everyone had their app turned up a little higher that day.

Josh Armstrong and his daughter Evie visited a career fair at Calvary Christian School in King, NC.

Brendan and Wendy visited Forsyth Tech to gain volunteers for the Spring fundraiser. Music Should Align with Scripture (Received this email after airing Parker and Ben in the outrace of the music we find aligning with God’s Word.)

“Good afternoon. I’ve been listening to yall everyday for about 9 months. What a blessing yall are to me as I was at a bad place in my life and yall helped me through it, and still helping me everyday.

I listened to the Friday morning session about whether we remember scripture or music more in church. Also, I took from that we should be careful about the songs we sing as it should be in line with scripture. I never thought about that but it makes total sense. I called my cousin after I heard this and I mentioned it to her. She totally agreed, and actually went to our praise minister when he first came to the church about this specific inquiry. He told her absolutely, if the song doesn’t reference scripture it will not be brought into the church. Just wanted to share that I took alot from that conversation.
