Springtime is that glorious time of year in schools when students are recognized for academic excellence through induction into the National Honor Society. Each year, between 40-50% of Parsippany’s eligible high schoolers qualify to apply to their school’s chapter of NHS. In addition to having a highgrade point average, students must also accumulate 100 service hours and present recommendations from faculty and community leaders affirming their strong character, positive leadership, and ethical conduct. To be inducted into the National Honor Society is an incredible privilege and celebrates students’ scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
