Register by Internet, Telephone or in Person
Residents: Registration begins at 8 a.m. on February 27. Non-residents: Registration begins at 5 a.m.* on March 1. *Not all facilities open at 5 a.m. Facility operational hours are listed on page 40.
ONLINE (fastest) planoparks.org Recreation Online
1. Go to the Recreation Online site by clicking ‘Register Here’ at planoparks.org 2. Click on ‘Create Account’. 3. Complete your information (you must have an email address to create an account) Some customers may already be in the new system. If you have taken a class in the past year, staff have already entered your information. To check, follow these steps: 1. Go to the new Recreation Online site. 2. Click on ‘Sign In’. 3. Click on ‘Forgot Password’ and enter your email address to have your login information sent to you. If you don’t have an email tied to your current account, you will not receive your login information. In that case, simply call any recreation center to set up your email and retrieve your login information.
IN-PERSON (allows for personal assistance)
1. Go to any of our recreation centers: Carpenter Park Recreation Center, Liberty
Recreation Center, Oak Point Recreation Center and Tom Muehlenbeck
Recreation Center. 2. Our staff will be happy to help you with your selections and registration. Please note that you will only be able to register one family at a time. If you need to register another family that cannot attend you must have a second person (age 16+) with you or go back to the end of the line then register the other family members. 3. Pay all fees using cash, check, money order, American Express, MasterCard, Discover or Visa. 4. A receipt can be printed or emailed to you.
PHONE CALL (Great for those not registering for a high demand class)
1. Call any of the following recreation centers. Call volume will be very heavy the first two hours of registration, please be patient. Carpenter Park Recreation Center 972-208-8087, Liberty Recreation Center 972-769-4234, Oak Point Recreation
Center 972-941-7540 and Tom Muehlenbeck Recreation Center 972-769-4404. 2. Register for the class of your choice. 3. Pay all fees using American Express, MasterCard, Discover, or Visa. 4. A receipt will be emailed or mailed to you.
