Study Area - Udyog Vihar Industrial Area within Gurugram, Haryana
Considerations taken while doing primary surveys and preparing proposals- One of the most important aspect of urban infrastructure was studied in depth that is transportation and based on the existing conditions/ issues which were identified during field visits, a mobility plan was prepared and documented in a Detailed Project Report (DPR). Prime focus of the interventions suggested were to enhance the present mobility pattern and connectivity of the area promoting the use of public trasnport (Electric feeder buses and IPTs). Accordingly, a bus depot was planned with designated two prime routes, bus stops, calculation of bus service in a day for both peak and off-peak hours was also done, cost estimation of the whole project and concluding it with impact assessment.
