OVERVIEW Fineness of a yarn is denoted as count. In DIRECT SYSTEM, count is the weight of a Unit Length of yarn. For example – “TEX” is number of grams in one Kilometer Length of yarn; “DENIER” is number of grams in 9000 meters of yarn. In INDIRECT SYSTEM count is length in unit weight. For example – “Ne” is number of hanks in one pound of yarn. Count TESTER (Computerized) is a very simple and accurate unit to find out the Yarn Count DIRECTLY without using any formulas through software Paramount DigiCOUNT i9 is a next generation equipment to get instant Yarn count result accurately. It Consists of high precision electronic weighing balance interfaced with computer to evaluate the count of yarn directly in any system. The high precision weighing balance can weigh up to 310gms with the accuracy of three decimal numbers . A software CD is provided to interface the balance with the laptop/ Computer .
