OVERVIEW A Crease Recovery Tester determines the property of Textiles to recover from Creases by measurement of the Recovery Angle. It is the latest model used Internationally. The Specimen is first creased under a specified load for fixed time then transferred to the measurement device where one end of the specimen is held in a spring loaded clamp while the free end is allowed to fall free under its own Weight. The clamped end is slowly rotated till the free end becomes vertical under its own weight. The deflection of the clamped end from the horizontal is now read on the scale fixed to the moving clamp. This angle gives the measure of the Crease Recovery Angle. Paramount Crease Recovery tester i9 ™ is made of Heavy Casted base and all the other parts are made of Stainless-Steel. The Rotating Dial is made of fine Stainless-Steel sheet, engraved in Black Color. The dial moves in the Bracket with smooth movement . The Loading Assembly for Creasing the Specimen is also given with instrument having three S.S Creasing Load of 10N, 9.63N (As per ISO) & 500 Gms (As per AATCC).
