Celebrate California’s Oldest Harvest Festival Johnny Appleseed Days October 7 & 8 businesses at artisanal and commercial booths, while serenaded by talented local musicians. Children and adults alike are enthralled with tales from Johnny Appleseed himself, and the children’s game plaza, is always a huge and happy hit. oin us on October 7 th and 8th at Terry Ashe Park in Paradise for the 129th Johnny Appleseed Days celebration! And if you’d like to get in on the fun beforehand, join the pie party to help bake the 1,000 apple pies that are the centerpiece of the fest. The pies will be baked with Paradise-grown Noble Orchard apples at the Paradise Moose Lodge. If you are handy with a peeler and a rolling pin, call the Chamber on 877-9356 to sign up. Pie baking is a three-day party that includes raffle prizes, catered lunch, and comradery. Sign up with your family, church group, service group, neighbors or by yourself. Since its earliest days and in its various permutations, this traditional fall fair had been a showcase for home grown produce and products of all kinds—from business to talent to local color. Local businesses will be out in force to offer information, demonstrations, promotional materials and gifts. Artisans and crafters from oth for all over the west will be on hand If you don’t have a bo with unique gifts for early Christys – Johnny Appleseed da mas shoppers and treasure seekers. DON’T WAIT! booths Johnny Appleseed Days is Space is limited and also a fundraiser for the Boys are going fast! & Girls Club of Paradise, the Paradise Rotary, the Pair-ODice Chapter of E. Chamber Seeks its 2018 Leadership Team

With national, state, and local representation, Luther Sage Kelly, aka “Yellowstone Kelly,” will finally be recognized for his lifelong achievements and his residency here in our foothill community. The Paradise Memorial Trail will be rededicated as the Yellowstone Kelly Heritage Trail to create a fitting tribute to the pioneers of our Ridge community, including our trailblazers and the railroad that
