DISTRICT MANAGER’S MESSAGE

Fall + Winter 2025 IS FINALLY HERE!

As the crisp air and changing leaves signal the arrival of fall, we’re reminded of the many ways this season invites us to connect with nature, with each other, and with our incredible community. Whether you're trying something new or enjoying a favorite activity, there’s something for everyone in this guide.

This fall, we're especially proud of the continued success of our Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N) program. With nearly 80 events and activities happening across the district, it’s been an amazing way to bring a couple of thousand of your best friends together. While the program is set to wrap up on December 31, 2025, we hope the connections and partnerships it inspired continue to thrive for years to come. Be sure to visit our website for upcoming N2N events near you!

Looking ahead, we’re excited to share that new parks are set to begin construction in 2026, including Lakeridge Park and the Bille Park Enhancement.

We also will look to improve some of your other favorite facilities as well. These projects represent our commitment to growing with our community and creating inclusive spaces for all to enjoy. At the same time, we’ve also begun planning for future park properties a process that takes time but is essential to ensuring access to beautiful, functional spaces for generations to come.

Behind every park, program, and event is a dedicated team working hard to maintain our awardwinning facilities (why yes, Bille Park did win an award from the California Association of Recreation and Park Districts!) and create opportunities for recreation, learning, and connection. This season, keep an eye out for new sports events, fresh classes, and seasonal favorites designed to keep you active and engaged.

We’re proud of the progress we’ve made and excited for what’s ahead. Thank you for being part of our growing community and for making our parks and programs such special places all year long.

See you out there!
