SACRED KITSCH

Diferent religions have always played an important role in my life.

I feel the same way about religions and religiosity as I do about kitsch I love it very much, I research it a lot, it makes me very happy, but I am neither “kitsch-person” nor “religious-person” I surrender myself to these two favorite things, as a beautiful, ironic love child of kitsch and religiosity: to the religious supplies and I decorate my environment with them.

I always find something for myself to collect, most of the time I discover recurring motifs and objects on the streets.We can see one of these series on the right. A visual souvenir brought from Catania, abandoned, decorated and renewed sacred images, altars.
